It will begin at noon at the corner of Lindsay and Elm Street.High Point Veterans Day Parade – The High Point Veterans Day Parade will be on Sunday, November 12. It will begin at 3 p.m. The parade route will start at Main Street, then go to Russell Avenue, and end on Quebein Avenue. The lineup will include veterans, color guards, marching bands, cars, motorcycles, military vehicles, and ROTC units. LUNCHEONS, DINNERS, AND COFFEE EVENTS Davidson County Senior Services Annual Veterans Luncheon – In partnership with Novant Health, the Davidson County Senior Services will be hosting its Annual Veterans Luncheon on Tuesday, November 7, from Noon to 2 p.m.It will be held at Davidson-Davie Community College’s Mary E. Rittling Conference Room at 297 Community College Road in Thomasville. All Davidson County veterans 55 and older and their spouses are cordially invited to attend the reception free of charge.Veterans’ Coffee at Richard Childress Racing – There will be a Veterans Coffee Event at Richard Childress Racing on Wednesday, November 8. It starts at 9 a.m. It will be held at RCR Headquarters at 425 Industrial Avenue in Welcome, NC.During the coffee event, there will also be a recognition of Gold Star family members or POWs. Women Veterans Coffee & Conversation – The Women Veterans Coffee & Conversation will take place on Monday, November 13, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Presented by Veterans Bridge Home and sponsored by Humana, it will take place at the Humana Neighborhood Center at 1045 Hanes Mall Boulevard in Winston-Salem. Veterans Coffee Event – This coffee will be on Wednesday, November 16, and begins at 8:30 a.m. It will be in Greensboro at the Golden Corral at 4404 Landview Drive. The event is presented by Veterans Bridge Home.Greensboro Dinner – Elks Lodge of Greensboro is hosting a dinner for Veterans on Friday, November 10. Those with accessibility needs may drive up to the memorial entrance.
