Child star Honey Boo Boo looks tired as she returns home with older boyfriend

Honey Boo Boo looked worlds away from her younger self as she was spotted walking through a busy airport with her older boyfriend.

The 18-year-old TLC star – whose real name is Alana Thompson – returned home to Atlanta, Georgia, with boyfriend Dralin Carswell, 22, having moved away from home for college. She’s currently studying to be a nurse in Denver, Colorado.

Honey Boo Boo looked slightly tired as she cut a stylish figure in a yellow Barbie T-shirt. She opted for comfort with a pair of black trousers and carried her belongings around in a black and white leopard print bag. The reality star also wore a pair of white trainers and styled her hair in loose waves.

Dralin also decided on a casual outfit, wearing a light blue hooded sweater which featured a skull on the front. He added a black beanie to his look and wore a pair of white trainers. The couple were seen grabbing their bags before waiting for a ride home.

Honey Boo Boo was recently defended by her mother Mama June after online trolls questioned her relationship with Dralin, who is four years her senior. The couple have been dating for around two years.

Since going public with their romance, Honey Boo Boo and Dralin have faced backlash from fans, with some judging Dralin’s appearance, and other’s in disagreement with the couple’s age gap. But Mama June insisted he was a “good guy”.

The 43-year-old TV star, who shot to fame alongside her daughter on Toddlers and Tiaras addressed the age gap romance. “He is older than her but honestly for me, Dralin has a very young mentality. He has a very teenage mentality, if that makes sense,” she told the Daily Mail.

Elsewhere in her chat, Mama June spoke of how some boys mature at a later age than women. She said she believes that Dralin is “one of those boys”. Honey Boo Boo also hit back at critics as she confessed that she “doesn’t really care” what fans think. “I don’t care because, like, at the end of the day, my sister approves, his mom approves, and we’re happy, so what fans got to say or what haters got to say I don’t really care,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
