Strippers Battle: Channing Tatum vs. Jennifer Lopez
Channing Tatum has been a male stripper in the past, before entering Hollywood. His Magic Mike franchise is loosely best on the actor’s previous life as a stripper. Appearing on Vanity Fair’s lie detector test, the 21 Jump Street actor revealed that he can do better strip-off than Jennifer Lopez. The actor/singer, Lopez has appeared in Lorene Scafaria’s 2019 crime comedy Hustlers as a stripper named Ramona. “Am I a better stripper than her? I’m gonna say yeah,” Tatum said.
“I would go harder. If I was stripping against her, I’m just saying. I would take it to J.Lo’s front door […] You’ve got to go hard if you’re going to go against the J.Lo. The love, she’s like, man, I don’t know if I’m going to win, but I like my chances, depending on who the audience is.”
In Hustlers, Lopez’s character Ramona earns by scamming people. But Tatum never scammed anyone like Lopez in the film. “We made like 60 bucks a night if that, 100 bucks on a good night,” Tatum said.
Tatum played a male stripper in the Magic Mike franchise exposing his physique and performing striptease throughout the franchise but his s*xy avatar really attracted a lot of people.
A Strange Woman Sent Very Explicit Photos to Channing Tatum on Instagram
Magic Mike’s erotic striptease did attract a lot of attention after the actor exposed his carefully forged physique for the role. Talking about the Instagram following in the Vanity Fair interview the actor revealed that an elderly woman sent him weird explicit photos on Instagram. At the time of the interview, the actor followed specifically 2222 people. “It’s weird it’s a weird amount of people,” Tatum confessed. Most of them, “I don’t even know who I’ve followed I used to give my phone to my friends and let them just follow people randomly,” he added. But his friend followed a woman who later sent him disturbingly weird photos of the actor.
“It was an older woman and it uh I’d end up blocking her the stuff that she was sending me was crazy. It was wild […] Uh, very explicit photos as you can imagine and narratives that weren’t real that I was like okay this is gotta I gotta block this.”
It was intense but the actor blocked the user right after. Most recently, the 43-year-old appeared in the final movie, Magic Mike’s Last Dance of Magic Mike franchise.
Tatum will appear in Zoë Kravitz’s upcoming thriller Pussy Island and Greg Berlanti’s Project Artemis for Apple TV+ starring alongside Scarlett Johansson and Woody Harrelson.
