This bill works to ensure that financial counselors make the best and fully informed financial decisions “without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin”.

Dear Representative Good:

On behalf of the over 2.2 million members of AMAC – Association of Mature American Citizens, including over 6,900 members in VA-05, I write to offer our support for H.R. 5338, the “No Discrimination in My Benefits Act.”

In an era of our nation’s history when a federal agency has the gall to conduct religious profiling with impunity, indeed to disregard our guaranteed freedom of religious expression; and in a time when biological males may visit women’s rest facilities even at private institutions, and denigrate the spirit of sport in athletics; and when Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) programs virally spread in the background of Critical Race Theory (CRT); We the People must work to flatten the curve of proliferation of the “woke” agenda by ensuring that “financial fiduciary, counselor[s], employees[s] or service provider[s]” perform their important functions and make the best and fully informed financial decisions “without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin” and in the best tradition of our Declaration of Independence. For these financial professionals to do any less is a disservice to their clientele.

Section two of your bill provides a simple, succinct regulatory remedy by ensuring that the Civil Rights Act Title VII language is placed into 29 USC 1104: Fiduciary duties in a manner that gives teeth to the anti-discrimination concept.

AMAC thanks you, Representative Good, for your vision and strong leadership in introducing this important legislation to protect our country from discrimination in financial management decisions.

Sincerely,
Bob Carlstrom
President
